इंटरनेशनल बिजनेस रिपोर्ट के अनुसार जुलाई-सितंबर तिमाही में भारत कारोबार
करने के लिहाज से एक बेहतर देश के रूप में दुनिया में दूसरा सबसे अनुकूल
देश बन गया है। सर्वे के अनुसार 86% भारतीय व्यापार अपने राजस्व में इजाफे
को लेकर आशान्वित हैं, जबकि जून को समाप्त हुई तिमाही में यह आंकड़ा 83% ही
था।
2.Reserve Bank of
India issued guidelines for the Gold Monetisation Scheme (GMS) that
allow banks to fix their own interest rates on gold deposits. The RBI
notification in this regard comes ahead of the formal launch of the
scheme by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Novermber 5. As per the
guidelines, banks will be free to set interest rate on such deposit, and
principal and interest of the deposit will be denominated in gold.

रिजर्व बैंक ने स्वर्ण मौद्रिकरण योजना (जीएमएस) के लिए दिशानिर्देश जारी
किए जिसमें बैंकों को स्वर्ण जमाओं पर खुद ब्याज दरें तय करने की अनुमति दी
गई है। आरबीआई की यह अधिसूचना प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी द्वारा इस योजना
को औपचारिक तौर पर 5 नवंबर को शुरू करने से पहले आई है। दिशानिर्देशों के
अनुसार, बैंक इस तरह की जमा पर ब्याज दर तय करने के लिए स्वतंत्र होंगे और
जमा का मूल व ब्याज सोने में वर्णित होगा।
3. Seven
British-Indians have secured a spot in top 10 of the ‘GG2 Power 101
list’. The GG2 Leadership Awards recognise and reward high achievers
within ethnic minorities and celebrate the very best of multicultural
Britain. The awards were presented at the 17th annual GG2 Leadership
Awards in London. Pakistan-origin business secretary, Sajid Javid, has
topped the list of 101 prominent people with Indian-origin Hinduja
brothers — S.P and G.P.Hinduja of the global conglomerate Hinduja Group —
have jointly secured the second spot. Indian-origin employment
minister, Priti Patel, becomes the highest-ranking woman, taking the
third place slot.

नागरिकों को ‘जीजी2 पावर 101 सूची’ में 10 शीर्ष लोगों में शामिल किया गया
है। ‘जीजी2 लीडरशिप पुरस्कार’ जातीय अल्पसंख्यकों में से कामयाब लोगों की
पहचान कर उन्हें पुरस्कृत करता है। गार्डियन की रपट के अनुसार 17वें
वार्षिक जीजी2 लीडरशिप पुरस्कार के अवसर पर ये पुरस्कार प्रदान किए गए।
पाकिस्तानी मूल के व्यवसायी सचिव साजिद जावेद 101 प्रभावशाली लोगों की सूची
में शीर्ष पर हैं। भारतीय मूल के हिंदुजा समूह के भाइयों- एसपी हिंदुजा और
जीपी हिंदुजा को संयुक्त रूप से दूसरा स्थान प्राप्त हुआ है। भारतीय मूल
की रोजगार मंत्री प्रीति पटेल को तीसरा स्थान हासिल हुआ है और महिला वर्ग
में वह शीर्ष पर हैं।
4. The
Union Govt. has circulated a draft note pertaining to monetary policy
mechanism in the country. It has proposed clipping the exclusive veto
rights of the RBI governor in setting monetary policy. It has proposed
that a seven-member committee should draft monetary policy. It has
proposed that the committee would have four members from the government
and three from the central bank, with the RBI governor, as its chair,
holding no veto power as was earlier. The monetary policy committee will
fix the benchmark interest rate of the RBI and set inflation targets.

सरकार द्वारा मौद्रिक नीति से सम्बन्धित प्रणाली के सम्बन्ध एक मसौदा पत्र
जारी किया गया है। इस मसौदा पत्र ने मौद्रिक नीति को स्वीकृति प्रदान करने
में आरबीआई के गवर्नर की विशेष वीटो अधिकारों को समाप्त करने का प्रावधान
किया है। इसमें मौद्रिक नीति को तय करने के लिए सात-सदस्यीय समिति गठित
करने का प्रस्ताव रखा गया है। इस समिति में चार सदस्यों को सरकार द्वारा
नामित किया जायगा जबकि इसके अध्यक्ष आरबीआई गवर्नर समेत अन्य तीन सदस्य
आरबीआई के प्रतिनिधि होंगे। परंतु इसमें आरबीआई गवर्नर को अभी तक हासिल
वीटो शक्ति को समाप्त करने की अहम सिफारिश की गई है। यह
समिति ब्याज दर समेत प्रमुख दरों का निर्धारण करेगी और मुद्रास्फीति के लक्ष्यों की घोषणा भी करेगी।
5. Alok
Rawat has been appointed as the first-ever male member of the National
Commission of Women (NCW). Alok Rawat is a former Cabinet Secretary. He
was appointed as the first male member of the NCW by filling the fourth
seat in the five-member body. The 5-member NCW is led by Lalitha
Kumaramangalam.

6. Reliance
Capital Asset Management (RCAM) announced takeover of Goldman Sachs
Asset Management India (GSAMI), which is the Indian mutual fund entity
of global financial giant Goldman Sachs in all-cash deal of Rs. 243
crore with which it becomes the exclusive fund manager for the
government’s ambitious Central Public Sector Enterprises Exchange Traded
Fund (CPSE-ETF).

(आरसीएएम) ने गोल्डमैन सैक्स एसेट मैनेजमेण्ट इण्डिया (जीएसएएमआई) जो
वैश्विक वित्तीय समूह गोल्डमैन सैक्स की भारतीय म्यूचुअल फण्ड इकाई है, के
243 करोड़ रुपए के पूर्ण नकद सौदे में अधिग्रहण की घोषणा की है, जिसके चलते
वह केन्द्र सरकार के महात्वाकांक्षी केन्द्रीय सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र उपक्रमों
के एक्सचेंज ट्रेडेट फण्ड (सीपीएसई-ईटीएफ) का एक्सक्लूसिव फण्ड मैनेजर बन
जायेगी।
7. Indian-American
Comedian Aziz Ansari has managed to feature his name on the Forbes list
of Highest-Paid Comedians 2015. Ansari who is best known for the role
of Tom Haverford on NBC’s blockbuster show, ‘Parks and Recreation’
managed to seal the spot with $9.5 million in earnings. The Forbes list
features Jerry Seinfeld as the top-earning comedian, having $36 million
in earnings.

criminologist K. Chockalingam was conferred with the prestigious Paul H
Appleby Award given by the Indian Institute of Public Administration
(IIPA). He was awarded for his distinguished services to public
administration and IIPA, where he was a member.

Reva Khetrapal is appointed as the new Lokayukta of Delhi. Reva
Khetrapal is a former Delhi High Court judge. The post of Delhi
Lokayukta has remained vacant since November 2013, when retired Justice
Manmohan Sarin relinquished office.
