और एंटी मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग (एएमएल) के मानकों पर, उसके निर्देशों का उल्लंघन
करने के लिये धनलक्ष्मी बैंक लिमिटेड पर 1 करोड़ रुपये का मौद्रिक जुर्माना
लगाया है।
2. The TK
Viswanathan-headed committee on Bankruptcy Law Reforms has proposed an
easy exit option for low-income individuals unable to repay debts. The
comprehensive draft Insolvency and Bankruptcy Bill, part of a report on
‘Bankruptcy law reforms’ envisages two distinct processes — Fresh Start
and Insolvency Resolution — to deal with individual bankruptcy.

कानून सुधार पर टी. के. विश्वनाथन की अध्यक्षता वाली समिति ने ऋण चुकाने
में असमर्थ कम आय वाले व्यक्तियों के लिए आसानी से छुटकारा दिये जाने के
विकल्प का प्रस्ताव किया है। व्यापक मसौदा दिवाला और दिवालियापन विधेयक जो
‘दिवालियापन कानून सुधारों’ पर रिपोर्ट का एक हिस्सा है, व्यक्तिगत
दिवालियापन से निपटने के लिए दो अलग-अलग प्रक्रियाओं-नई शुरुआत और दिवाला
संकल्प-की परिकल्पना करता है।
3. Tata
Sons Chairman Emeritus Ratan Tata and Governor of AP and Telangana ESL
Narasimhan inaugurated the first phase of T-Hub, the much talked about
start-up incubator. The first phase, christened Catalyst, is located at
the International Institute for Information Technology (IIIT-Hyderabad)
at Gachibowli. Being taken up by the Telangana Government, the T-Hub
project is joined by the Indian School of Business (ISB), the National
Law University Nalsar and IIIT-H. The three academic institutes would
provide mentorship in their respective areas of competence.

4. President Pranab
Mukherjee launched ‘IMPRINT India’, a joint initiative of country’s top
educational institutes, aimed at developing a roadmap for research to
solve major engineering and technology challenges relevant to India
today. The initiative is based on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s
suggestion that research done by institutions of national importance
must be linked with immediate requirements of the society at large.

प्रौद्योगिकी चुनौतियों के समाधान के लिए अनुसंधान हेतु रोडमैप विकसित करने
के उद्देश्य से देश के शीर्ष शिक्षण संस्थानों की एक संयुक्त पहल
‘इंप्रिंट इंडिया’ का शुभारंभ किया। यह पहल प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के
इस सुझाव पर आधारित है कि राष्ट्रीय महत्व के संस्थानों द्वारा द्वारा किए
गए शोध को बड़े पैमाने पर समाज की तत्काल आवश्यकताओं के साथ जोड़ा जाना
चाहिए।
5. Prime
Minister Narendra Modi has launched three ambitious schemes to reduce
the physical demand for gold. The Gold Monetisation Scheme (GMS), 2015,
provides option to deposit their precious metal and earn an interest of
up to 2.5 per cent, while under the Sovereign Gold Bonds Scheme,
investors can earn an interest rate of 2.75 per cent per annum by buying
paper bonds. Modi also unveiled the first ever Indian gold coin and
bullion, bearing the national emblem, Ashok Chakra on one side, and
Mahatma Gandhi’s image engraved on the other side. Initially the coins
will be available in denominations of 5 and 10 gm. A 20 gm bullion will
also be available through 125 MMTC outlets.India currently imports
around 1,000 tonnes of gold every year, leading to outflow of forex
reserves.

का ब्याज कमाने का विकल्प प्रदान करती है जबकि संप्रभु स्वर्ण बॉण्ड योजना
निवेशक पेपर बॉण्ड खरीद करके प्रति वर्ष 2.75 प्रतिशत की ब्याज दर अर्जित
कर सकते हैं। मोदी ने एक तरफ राष्ट्रीय प्रतीक अशोक चक्र दूसरी ओर महात्मा
गाँधी की छवि उत्कीर्ण किये हुये, अब तक के सबसे पहले भारतीय सोने के
सिक्के और बुलियन का अनावरण किया। प्रारंभ में ये सिक्के 5 और 10 ग्राम के
मूल्यवर्ग में उपलब्ध होगें। 20 ग्राम का बुलियन 125 एमएमटीसी स्टोरों के
माध्यम से उपलब्ध कराया जायेगा। भारत वर्तमान में हर साल सोने की लगभग
1,000 टन सोने का आयात करता है जिससे भारत से विदेशी मुद्रा भंडार का
बहिर्वाह होता है।

ranked No.21 in the latest men’s singles rankings released by the

7. Citing danger to
the “lives of the citizens” and “threat to national security”, President
Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom on Wednesday declared a state of emergency
in the Maldives. The emergency measures, as of now planned for 30 days,
effectively snatches away the freedoms that followed the August 2008
Constitution.

8. Justice
Thakur, the senior-most judge of the apex court, will take over as the
CJI after Justice Dattu retires on December 2. In a significant move
signalling that seniority reigns supreme in the highest judiciary
following the revival of the Collegium, Chief Justice of India H.L.
Dattu has recommended the name of Justice Tirath Singh Thakur as his
successor.

बाद एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम के तहत वरिष्ठता को उच्चतम न्यायपालिका में
सर्वोच्चता का संकेत देते हुये भारत के मुख्य न्यायाधीश एच. एल. दत्तू ने
अपने उत्तराधिकारी के रूप में न्यायमूर्ति तीरथ सिंह ठाकुर के नाम की
सिफारिश की है।
9. China’s top
legislature has ratified the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB)
agreement, that will set out legal framework for the $100 billion-bank
in which India and 56 other countries are founder members.

की शीर्ष विधायिका ने 100 अरब डॉलर के बैंक के लिए कानूनी ढांचे की
स्थापना लिये एशियाई बुनियादी ढांचा निवेश बैंक (एआईआईबी) समझौते को
स्वीकृति दे दी है जिसमें भारत और 56 अन्य देश संस्थापक सदस्य हैं।
10. Taxi
aggregators Ola and Uber have signed agreements with the Rajasthan
government for skill development and creation of entrepreneurial
opportunities in the state. Under the partnership, Ola will team up with
the state government to provide skill development for 50,000 men and
women over the next five years.
