रिलायंस
इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर ने कनाडा की सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र की पेंशन निवेश फर्म
पीएसपी इन्वेस्टमेंट के साथ एक गैर-बाध्यकारी समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर किए।
इसके तहत पीएसपी इन्वेस्टमेंट मुंबई और उसके आसपास के क्षेत्रों में
रिलायंस इन्फ्रा के एकीकृत बिजली उत्पादन, पारेषण, वितरण और ट्रेडिंग
कारोबार में 49 फीसदी हिस्सेदारी का अधिग्रहण करेगी।

veteran sports administrator Sundar Raman has been appointed as Chief
Executive Officer (CEO) of Reliance Industries group’s sports unit.

4. Union
Government has appointed Syed Akbaruddin as India’s new Permanent
Representative to the United Nations (UN). He will replace Ashoke
Mukerji. Syed Akbaruddin is a 1985-batch officer of the Indian Foreign
Service (IFS) and has been the spokesperson of the External Affairs
Ministry (MEA). He is currently serving as an Additional Secretary in
MEA.
केन्द्र सरकार ने सैय्यद अकबरुद्दीन को संयुक्त
राष्ट्र में भारत का नया स्थायी प्रतिनिधि नियुक्त किया है। वह अशोक
मुखर्जी का स्थान लेंगे। सैय्यद अकबरुद्दीन 1985-बैच के भारतीय विदेश सेवा
(आईएफएस) के अधिकारी हैं तथा विदेशी मामलों के मंत्रालय (एमईए) के प्रवक्ता
रह चुके हैं। वे वर्तमान में विदेश मंत्रालय में अतिरिक्त सचिव के रूप में
तैनात हैं।

shuttler Siril Verma (15) clinched a silver medal at the BWF World
Junior Championships held in Lima, Peru after suffering a defeat against
Chinese Taipei’s Chia Hung Lu.

6. In
recognition of his work in encouraging the public to follow his lead by
going meat-free, cricketer Murali Kartik has been selected for
‘Compassionate Athlete Award’ from People for the Ethical Treatment of
Animals (PETA). Kartik promotes vegetarian meals on social media and has
also starred in a PETA India campaign.

the governing body of football, banned Nepal’s football chief Ganesh
Thapa for 10 years for corruption. The body also banned the President of
the Laos federation Viphet Sihachakr for two years on the charges of
bribery.

आरोप में नेपाल के फुटबॉल प्रमुख गणेश थापा पर 10 सालों के लिए प्रतिबंध

वीफेट सिहाचेकर पर भी दो सालों के लिए प्रतिबंध लगा दिया है।
9. Former
chief of the country’s external intelligence agency Research and
Analysis Wing (RAW), K. Shankaran Nair, passed away. He was 94 years
old.
