Eligibility Criteria :
  • Educational Qualification : 
  • For Assistant Director : Bachelor’s Degree with first class or 60% marks or B+ in the aggregate or a post-graduate Degree in any branch of Engineering/Technology or equivalent qualifications from a recognized University/Institute and 4 years’ experience in Teaching/Research/Administration/Industry including 2 (two) years’ experience in teaching in an Engineering/technological college or polytechnic as a Lecturer.
  • For Joint Director : Second class Master’s Degree in Statistics; or a second class Master’s Degree in Mathematics/Economics/Agricultural Economics with a post-graduate Diploma in Statistics/Agricultural Statistics from a recognized University/Institute and 8 years’ experience in Statistical Research or Statistical Survey or collection, preparation, interpretation and analysis of data relating to Agriculture & Animal Husbandry.

  • For Assistant Director : 35 years

  • For Inspector of Legal Metrology : Graduate of a recognised university in Science (With Physics as one of the subjects), Technology or Engineering OR Holds a recognised diploma in Engineering with three years experience in the field of Engineering in which the candidate has earned the diploma or in the field of Legal Metrology.
  • For Post Graduate Assistant Teacher : Master’s degree in the concerned subject from a recognized University and passed Madhyamik or Higher Secondary Examination from any English Medium School of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education/West Bengal Council for Higher Secondary Education, or its equivalent examination with English as first language.
  • For Assistant Manager : A degree in Agriculture of a recognised university with Botany or Horticulture as one of the subject, or a Degree in Science of a recognised university with Botany as one of subject (preference being given to a person holding Honours Degree in Science of a recognised university with Botany as one of the subject).
  • For Sub-Editor in Hindi : An Honours degree from a recognised University and 3 (three) years experience as Sub-Editor or working Journalist in any media house of repute.
  • Nationality : Indian

  • For Inspector, Assistant Manager & Post Graduate Assistant Teacher : 32 years
